NEW! Chrome OS Tablet coming!

The Verge introduces Chrome OS Tablets.
The Verge introduces Chrome OS Tablets.

Chromebook users (like myself) will be excited about the release of a new Chrome OS tablet that will be similar to an iPad pro but will include a free Wacom-branded stylus pen with built in storage.

I read about the tablet in this article from The Verge – “The first Chrome OS tablet is here.  Acer’s announcement comes a day before Apple’s new iPad.

“The Tab 10 has a 9.7-inch, 2048 x 1536 display — just like the iPad — with front- and rear-facing cameras, an estimated nine hours of battery life, an OP1 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a USB-C port. There’s also a microSD card slot and a headphone jack.” The Verge

ASUS Chromebook FLIP (UPDATED)

I am excitingly awaiting the arrival of my new ASUS Chromebook Flip C302 with Intel Core m3, 12.5-Inch Touchscreen, 64GB storage and 4GB RAM. I did a lot of research and narrowed down my choice between the Samsung Pro and this computer. Of course, I would love a new $995 Pixel but I cannot afford that.

UPDATE: I received my ASUS Chromebook Flip C302 and love it!  A few of the features that I like are:

  • Its integration with Google Drive
  • The size of the drive
  • Lighted keyboard
  • Size of the monitor
  • The ‘function’ alternative keys including the switch windows, volume adjustment keys, etc.
  • The speed of starting up
  • The Internet speed
